Our In-House Lab
When you need a crown, a bridge, an implant tooth, or a denture, someone has to build the part that goes in your mouth. At most offices, that part gets boxed up and mailed to an outside lab in another state, made by people who never meet you, and shipped back a week or two later.

We don't do it that way. We have a full dental lab right here in our building. Your restoration is designed, milled, and finished by our own team, in the same place we treat you. It never leaves the building.

Having the lab here changes how we work, and what you get.

When the people building your tooth can see you, your bite, and the color of the teeth next to it, the result fits and matches the way it should. When something needs a small change, we walk down the hall and handle it, instead of starting another two-week shipping cycle. Because we control every step, the work gets done on our schedule, not a courier's.

For you, that usually means fewer appointments and less waiting. The two things people tell us they dread most about dental work are the cost and the number of visits. Our lab is a big part of how we keep both down, and how you get back to eating and living normally sooner.
 

What's in the lab

Our lab runs a bit like a small machine shop, set up for one thing: building your teeth right. We have a master ceramist, milling units, sintering ovens, and five 3D printers, all under the same roof as your care.

The mill cuts your crown from a solid block of strong ceramic, like zirconia, with a precision that's hard to match by hand. Once it's milled, it's finished by hand: shaped, colored, and matched to your other teeth so it blends in. Graham or Joe oversees every step, so what gets made is exactly what was planned.

Color and fit, done in person

The color of a tooth is matched here, in our own light, against your real teeth. Not guessed from a photo by a technician you'll never meet. Same with the fit. The person adjusting it knows your case, because they're in the same building you are.
